The Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria are one of the leading gardens dedicated to conservation, science, and education around plants with gardens located in Melbourne City & Cranbourne. The brief was to completely re-design the corporate style publication and creatively explore a design direction in a captivating manner that will resonate with reader. The direction chosen was ‘urban oasis’ using the shapes, illustrations and vibrant colours to showcase the flora of the RBGV and emphasise the city living element. The typography of the publication was chosen to modernise the feeling of an annual report but still be quite simple it would be easy to read.
