The brief of this project was to re-design the album cover that reflects the artist, the name and the sounds of the track. Harry Styles album Fine Line was chosen, the original album art uses a fish-bowl photography style. The album reflects inspiration from the 70’s and 80’s through instrument’s and sound and this is where I chose to focus the album art on. After many technique experiments and exploration of ways to show this, using colour and lines with a minimal natural colour palette was chosen. For the front cover, the use of lines and different colour hues to reflect not only the album name but it also reflects the stories told through the lyrics.  The inner gatefold uses a wavy line which contrasts to the straight lines used and to create a more dream-like feeling.
